Serving Horizon West
Horizon West is an unincorporated part of Orange County, built as a string of master-planned villages along SR 429. It grew from roughly 14,000 residents in 2010 to 58,101 at the 2020 census, and it’s full of young families. Depending on your street, your mailing address says Winter Garden, Windermere or Orlando. New construction brings its own tech problem: the internet provider’s router lands wherever the line comes in, and the signal fades long before it reaches the bedrooms at the other end of the house.
About 31% of workers here work from home (2024 Census estimates), so a dropped video call is a real problem. We set up mesh Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi 6/6E, run Ethernet to the home office, and test signal strength room by room. For the kids, it’s cracked laptop screens, loose charging ports and family laptops picking up pop-ups and malware. We work on-site by appointment, Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM, and finish bigger repairs in our shop.
